Reza Rassuli, 17, Afghan community
Reza has been in New Zealand for two years. Reza remembers life in Afghanistan as hard and dangerous because of the Taliban. Coming to New Zealand was really challenging for him as he hardly spoke any English. Reza did not like the weather too as it was always cold and wet most of the time. Reza enjoys doing his homework and spending time with his friends during his free time. He does well at school and maths is his favourite subject. Reza enjoys playing football too and his dream is to play for Afghanistan’s national team. (Written by Abdirahman).
